Incomparable. I brought my Hispanic gf here and she said it was the most nostalgic cooking from her childhood summers at her grandmother's house. The food is a mix of cravable simple concession stand type foods and authentic Mexican cuisine favorites. On top of that a wonderful collection of homemade desserts from classic cookies and brownies to pan dulce. All food freshly made with love like authentic grandmothers cooking.

I was so thrilled when I found Nana's Kookies. I had been looking everywhere in Corpus to find a bakery that could do something close to what my grandma used to make. They knocked it out of the park and were a total hit at our wedding. So much so-- my cousin who got married two months later got her cookies from Nana's shipped to Austin for THEIR wedding. They truly brought the spirit of our grandma's cooking to our special celebrations and we are forever grateful for that very meaningful contribution! THANK YOU!!!

When you walk into this place, you will feel like you've walked into a friend's kitchen. All of what is normally behind-the-scenes is out for all to see. No secrets! As for walking into a friend's kitchen, it shows in the warm and relaxed greeting extended to us as we walked in by Nana herself. It also shows on the food. We had the enchilada casserole special and it was great. Good price, too. If you like super casual, local Cafe style dining, come on in. Even if you don't, come on in.

Cute little hole in the wall place with a surprising variety of foods, and great desserts too! I had a carne guisada taco and a Cookie and both were delicious! And Nana was very friendly and helpful too. Make sure to stop by if you are around, just be sure to not drive past it like I did!

This cute little shop feels like home with grandma baking in the kitchen. Smells so good and the flavors of the cookies, and empanada was right on. Authentic flavors! It took me back when my grandma use to make homemade empanadas. And they have other sweet treats like brownies!
